Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 71 on Friday when President Ram Nath Kavand and other dignitaries and politicians lauded his leadership along with BJP leaders. Wishing him a long and healthy life, President Kavand said that he would continue to serve the nation with his tireless spirit of service.
He received many congratulations on his birthday.

West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankar also congratulated him on his birthday and planted samples at Raj Bhavan in Kolkata.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 71st birthday and said his efforts for the country's development were encouraging. "Happy Birthday to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I pray for his long and healthy life. Your extraordinary, tireless efforts for the development of a new India have been a source of encouragement to all of us. "The nation continues to develop. Under your dynamic leadership and vision," Sinha tweeted.

Assam Chief Minister Himant Biswa Sarma and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar also conveyed their best wishes to the Prime Minister.
