Later, she clarified that she was not leaving Pakistan permanently, she was in Japan for shooting purposes.

Earlier, social media sensation supported the ban on tiktok in Pakistan. "I myself wanted a ban on tiktok talk in Pakistan, but it should not be on a permanent basis," she told various news publications. "I am in Japan and I have received news from Pakistan about the ban on tiktok," she added.
"The app is their livelihood, and we've seen an increase in new capabilities," she added. However, some people shared non-standard videos on it. For now, Jannat Mirza reiterated, the ban is necessary but SOPs should be created on the content and videos should be monitored. After taking the necessary precautions, the ban should be lifted. "Following the formal code of conduct, videos should be allowed to be broadcast," Mirza said.
